Book of Henry: Colin Trevorrow introduces young stars on Twitter
Colin Trevorrow, the director of Jurassic World and the still-incubating Star Wars: Episode IX, has cracked open his non-tentpole next movie, The Book of Henry, and teased moviegoers with a photo of his three young stars.
It’s a murderers’ row of up-and-comers you might recognize as “the kid from”: There’s Jacob Tremblay, the kid from the recent TIFF hit Room; Jaeden Lieberher, the kid from the Bill Murray dramedy St. Vincent; and Maddie Ziegler, the kid from Dance Moms and Sia’s music videos.
Trevorrow added the caption, “Casting is everything.”
Trevorrow’s photo arrived Friday morning as filming commenced in New York for Book of Henry, which remains a bit of a mystery. What is known is that it features an original screenplay by novelist Gregg Hurwitz, about a single mother raising two boys, one of whom is a genius.
Naomi Watts also stars, with Dean Norris, Lee Pace, Sarah Silverman, and Bobby Moynihan rounding out the cast.
Focus Features is overseeing production and will release the film.
