“People were surprised when I told them I was going to tape my special in San Francisco. That’s the most politically correct city in the world,” comedian Anthony Jeselnik says in an exclusive trailer for his new Netflix special, Anthony Jeselnik: Thoughts and Prayers. “Not when I’m on stage it’s not.”

Jeselnik, a veteran of Comedy Central’s roasts and host of 2013’s The Jeselnik Offensive, is known for his morally bankrupt stage persona, and that persona is cranked up to full volume in the trailer: “Last year, my mom should have been celebrating her 60th birthday,” he says. “But because of drugs, alcohol, and other terrible decisions… We all forgot.”

Anthony Jeselnik: Thoughts and Prayers premieres on Netflix Oct. 16. Watch the trailer above.
