Mark Ronson, Meghan Trainor, and Jess Glynne will also stop by to narrow down the contestant pool in advance of the live shows
Louis Tomlinson will return to his roots when he stops by The X Factor U.K. later this month.
Tomlinson — who placed third on The X Factor along with his One Direction bandmates in 2010 — will appear as Simon Cowell’s guest in the judges’ houses stage of the competition, an X Factor source confirms to EW.
He’ll help Cowell narrow down the competition in the “overs” category in advance of the live shows, while Meghan Trainor will assist Rita Ora in choosing the girls, Mark Ronson will be on standby for BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw to narrow down the boys’ category, and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will have help from Jess Glynne for the groups.
