The women of Little Mix went back to high school in their music video for “Love Me Like You,” the second single from their upcoming third studio album, Get Weird.

In the video, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall each find the man of their dreams — unfortunately, said man gave away his prom corsages a little too freely. “Love Me Like You” ends with Nelson and Thirlwall unenthusiastically shuffling from side to side with their second choices, while Edwards and Pinnock seemingly eschew men altogether. (Has anybody checked in on the Lerrie shippers?)

The cheery, upbeat melody and doo-wop sha-la-la-las are belied by some of the lyrics — “They try to romance me / But you got that nasty / And that’s what I want” — that hint at a more adult sound for the X Factor alums. Unlike their previous R&B-influenced outing, Salute, it appears as if Little Mix has fully embraced ’80s pop for Get Weird, as also heard in “Black Magic” and “Hair.” (“Hair” was a promotional single for which a video was not made, but just as an aside, it is the breakup anthem of the century. Listen here.)

Get Weird is out Nov. 6, and is available for pre-order now.
