Guillermo del Toro’s latest creation, Crimson Peak, look all types of frightening. The upcoming gothic horror flick largely takes place in Sir Thomas Sharpe’s (Tom Hiddleston) reclusive mansion. How did the house of horrors come alive?
EW has an exclusive video featuring interviews with the cast and crew as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the construction of the haunted mansion. “I wanted a house that was beautiful and, at the same time, represented the ghosts of the past,” del Toro says.
“It’s the biggest set I’ve ever been on in my life,” Hiddleston says. “It’s an amazing piece of work by many, many people.”
