It looks like Bridget Jones has traded in her diary for a high-tech upgrade.

In the first photo released from the upcoming third Bridget Jones movie, Bridget Jones’s Baby, Renée Zellweger’s Bridget is seen wearing in a chunky sweater (that does not, as far as we can tell, have a reindeer or snowman sewn to the front) and clutching an iPad to her chest. Production company Working Title Films posted the image to its Facebook page with the caption, “Bridget is back!”

The third film in the rom-com franchise, after 2001’s Bridget Jones’s Diary and 2004’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, recently began production in England; new star Patrick Dempsey, in his first post-McDreamy project, posted a teasing Instagram from Pinewood Studios last week.

We last saw Bridget accepting her boyfriend Mark Darcy’s (Colin Firth) proposal at the end of The Edge of Reason. Though writer Helen Fielding, on whose books the films are based, killed off Darcy in her 2013 novel Mad About the Boy, Firth will also return, along with Zellweger, for the third film.

Director Sharon Maguire, who helmed Bridget Jones’s Diary, is back to direct the threequel. But Hugh Grant, who appeared in the first two films as the charming rake Daniel Cleaver, will not appear in Bridget Jones’s Baby.
