Stephen Colbert was joined by fellow Daily Show alum John Oliver on Wednesday night’s episode of The Late Show.

Colbert asked the Last Week Tonight host if he cares at all about Donald Trump.

“I couldn’t give less of sh–” Oliver said. “It’s the 2016 election. And it’s 2015 right now. So I don’t care until we’re in the same year as the thing that I’m supposed to care about.”

Oliver emphasized that “there are plenty of problem in the world” and other important issues for presidential candidates like Trump to discuss, rather than talk about themselves.

Another highlight of the interview was Colbert and Oliver’s mutual respect for Jon Stewart. The pair also praised Trevor Noah, but Oliver said the new Daily Show host was “taking on the impossible” because “you can’t replace the irreplaceable,” something Colbert jokingly said he knew nothing about.
