Paramount Pictures has uncircled the release date for Rings, the third installment of The Ring horror franchise that had been scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 13.

The film is now slated to open sometime next year.

Directed by the Spanish filmmaker F. Javier Gutierrez (Before the Fall), Rings stars Johnny Galecki, Matilda Lutz, and Alex Roe. The movie was previously titled The Ring 3D and will continue the creepy series based on the Japanese horror flick Ringu, about a cursed videotape that kills people after days after they view it.

Paramount’s other recent calendar moves include slotting the financial drama The Big Short and the stop-motion animated film Anomalisa for December openings.
