Beautiful As I Want to Be

Logo TV will turn the camera toward transgender youth in the new digital web series Beautiful As I Want to Be, hosted by transgender model and Gender Proud founder Geena Rocero, the LGBT-focused network announced Wednesday.

In the four-episode series, Rocero, who also serves as an executive producer, will introduce the stories of four transgender youths. Each episode will see one of them prepare for a photo shoot with a mentor, who provides life advice and encourages the subject to define their own “ultimate expression of authentic beauty,” according to Logo’s press release.

“I am excited to share with trans youth the ways that I’ve used modeling and art to creatively express myself and to realize my dreams,” Rocero said in a statement. “This project is to affirm our youth’s potential, their beauty, and the possibilities when we celebrate and allow them to be their most authentic selves.”

The web series will premiere on Wednesday, Oct. 28 on and on Logo’s YouTube channel. New episodes will arrive every Wednesday.
