Ever wondered what songs by bands like the Beach Boys and the Byrds would sound like as performed by artists like Beck and Fiona Apple? You’re in luck: Those two — along with Cat Power, Jakob Dylan, and Regina Spektor, and more — are featured on Echo in the Canyon, an album honoring California rock circa the 1960s.

The album itself won’t be out until the spring, but the group will perform it in full at Los Angeles’ Orpheum Oct. 2. Tickets go on sale Oct. 2 here, and you can get a sneak peak of what to expect by listening to Cat Power and Dylan’s rendition of the Turtles’ “You Showed Me” below.
