Taylor Swift’s been a little busy — dancing with adorable 7-year-olds, promoting one of her heroes’ cover albums of her own songs, touring the world, etc. — so it’s not her fault that she only recently noticed MTV star/ former American Idol contestant Todrick Hall’s cover video of her greatest hits.

“I honestly can’t believe what I just saw,” Swift tweeted early Tuesday morning. “The amount of talent in one person has me speechless.”

Hall replied, “NIGHT = MADE, Thank you so much! You have no idea how you’ve just made my entire night!”

Fast forward a few hours, and Hall’s night would be made even better. Swift Instagrammed the two hanging out backstage at the 1989 World Tour.

Hall posted this adorable shot, and with that, another celebrity friendship — and another member of Swift’s ever-growing squad — is born.
