Scream Queens premiere tops Twitter engagement
- TV Show
The Muppets may have topped Scream Queens in premiere ratings on Tuesday night, but Twitter surely seemed to love Ryan Murphy’s new horror-comedy.
Just how much? The social media platform shared an exclusive look at some of the numbers with EW.
The show, which stars Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis, was Tuesday’s most tweeted about TV program by far, with 118,000 people combining for 416,000 messages.
Twitter tracked the tweets per minute of the debut and which moments incurred the strongest response. Unsurprisingly, two deaths and a particular reveal garnered the largest reaction. One pledgee’s death garnered nearly 7,000 tweets per minute.
