Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

  • TV Show

Late-night television: where presidential hopefuls go to do something silly. Following in the footsteps of Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and Chris Christie, Republican candidate Carly Fiorina appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night, and sang about her dogs.

As Fiorina explained to host Jimmy Fallon, she likes to make up songs — a tradition picked up from her mother — and puts particular focus on dogs Snickers and Max. “I’ll only give you one,” she told Fallon, before turning “Rock Around the Clock” into a song about a lazy pooch.

It wasn’t all fun and games for Fiorina on The Tonight Show. She also discussed fellow candidate Ben Carson’s recent inflammatory comments that a Muslim shouldn’t become president.

“It says in our constitution religion cannot be a test for office,” Fiorina said. “Anyone of any faith is welcome here.”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
