On an Emmys night when longtime bridesmaids like Jon Hamm, Veep, and Game of Thrones finally broke through to win top honors from the Television Academy, one beloved and long-ignored institution was left empty handed: Amy Poehler.

The Parks and Recreation star was nominated six times in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category for playing Leslie Knope on the NBC series, but failed to score one victory during the lifetime of the show, which ended earlier this year. Poehler’s last chance for a win came during the 67th annual Emmy Awards on Sunday night, but she lost yet again to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who has won the last four best actress trophies.

Not that Poehler showed any disappointment. When the camera cut to her as the nominees were being read, the 44-year-old was all chill, wearing a hoodie and aviator sunglasses.

In fact, she basically staged a mini Mean Girls reenactment as a way to send her run of defeats off in style. Right, Damian?

Thanks, Amy.
