The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Lupita Nyong’o sat down on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday, where the host asked if she’d ever want to do a comedy as a change-up from her dramatic roles.

“I’d love to do something lighter,” she said. “Comedy is very scary, and I like to be scared.”

She also likes to be embarrassed — or, she used to like it. Nyong’o told Stephen Colbert how she and her friends used to break out into silly walks while going down the street, but that she doesn’t do it anymore because people might recognize her.

Colbert then offered his Late Show set up as a “safe place” and asked if she wanted to a silly walk. Naturally, he offered to do one too.
