High school English lit never looked like this.

The latest clip from Macbeth, the new adaptation of the Shakespeare play from director Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender, features the witches’ prophecy that sets the story’s tragic wheels in motion.

The film’s U.S. trailer teased a more visceral take on Shakespeare, and some stunning cinematography from True Detective shooter Adam Arkapaw. Those visuals are again on display in the clip, as well as the best sampling yet of Fassbender’s Scottish brogue. Not bad, Fassy.

If medieval English drama isn’t your cup of tea and video games are more your speed, it’s worth noting that a lot of the creative team on Macbeth is currently filming Assassin’s Creed. The adaptation of the neverending game series will boast the same director, star, cinematographer, and leading lady (Marion Cotillard). That movie is scheduled to hit theaters December 2016.

Macbeth, which is currently slated for a Dec. 4 release in the U.S., has already picked up a number of raves, having its world premiere earlier this year at Cannes, and is set for a UK release in early October.
