Vin Diesel’s latest film, The Last Witch Hunter, finds him fighting to protect humanity from all things supernatural as an 800-year-old immortal witch hunter. And now, there’s a big threat looming on the horizon, and it looks like he’s the only warrior “qualified” to get the job done. (Because who else would the world trust?)

In the latest trailer, Diesel’s Kaulder prepares for the new danger that’s “awakening,” as the Witch Queen has come back to obliterate humanity. He’ll have a little help from Game of Thrones’ Rose Leslie – who learns the hard way that you shouldn’t try to take a selfie with a sleepy witch hunter.

With plenty of butt-kicking, sword-wielding, and terrifying monsters, The Last Witch Hunter — which also stars Elijah Wood and Michael Caine — arrives in theaters Oct. 23.
