Mariah Carey has a voice so powerful it seems like it could shatter glass (or at least open a garage door), but hitting high notes and making hit records aren’t her only talents.

According to a campy new ad for the mobile app Game of War: Fire Age, the self-proclaimed Elusive Chanteuse is also cool under pressure and a crack shot with a crossbow.

Set to the sounds of Carey’s 1993 chart-topper “Hero,” the minute-long spot for the medieval-fantasy game finds a pair of would-be warriors in serious need of backup. Digging out a smartphone, one of them sends out a digital distress signal, and what do you know — a hero comes along. Actually, a few heroes come along, including Mimi herself.

This isn’t the first time game maker Machine Zone has enlisted a high-profile spokeswoman: The company previously did a Super Bowl ad with Kate Upton. See the new Game of War ad below.
