Manu Bennett, who starred as Azog in The Hobbit series and Deathstroke in Arrow, was arrested for assault on Sunday in San Antonio.

San Antonio police told PEOPLE that the 45-year-old actor was taken into custody after allegedly “punching a 29-year-old male during a disturbance at a party,” shortly after 4.30 a.m. Sunday.

Bennett was scheduled to attend the Alamo City Comic Con as a celebrity guest on Saturday and Sunday. Reps for Bennett did not immediately respond to EW’s request for comment.

In addition to his roles as Azog and Deathstroke, Bennett also appeared as Crixus in the Starz series Spartacus and as Allanon in MTV’s upcoming series The Shannara Chronicles.
