Bill Hader is about to lay down some law in Brooklyn.

The Trainwreck star will pop up in the season 3 premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine as the precinct’s new captain, Seth Dozerman. The character is described by Hader’s fellow SNL alum Andy Samberg (aka Det. Jake Peralta) as “a severely anal-retentive personality.”

As you will see in this exclusive clip from the premiere, which airs Sept. 27 at 8:30 p.m. ET, Capt. Dozerman is obsessed with efficiency — not to mention naming things after himself. “He is not an obvious fit with the precinct — and Jake in particular — but Jake does his best to acclimate,” Samberg told EW about Hader‘s guest-starring role.
