Kelly Clarkson is canceling six stops on her Piece by Piece tour, after doctors told the singer she needs to rest.

“So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates,” Clarkson tweeted on Friday night. “This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice!”

The affected dates start with Saturday’s performance in Vienna, Virginia, and continue through two stops in Florida, one in North Carolina, and another in New Jersey.

According to Clarkson’s tweet, all tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase.

Clarkson kicked off her tour in July, and it’s slated to continue through November. The American Idol winner has been wowing fans with her covers at each show, including Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space,” Prince’s Purple Rain, and *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.”
