In the new film Lace Crater, strange things start happening to the body of a woman after she has a one-night stand with a ghost in the Hamptons.

Is the movie financed by residents of Montauk, aggrieved by the ever-growing number of New Yorkers who tramp through their town each summer? Ah, probably not. But what we can tell you for sure is that Lace Crater is directed by first-time filmmaker Harrison Atkins, is produced by prolific indie auteur Joe Swanberg, and stars Lindsay Burdge as the woman in question. We can also tell you that Lace Crater will receive its world premiere on Sept. 15, at the Toronto International Film Festival.

You can exclusively see a teaser trailer for Lace Crater, below.
