Yes, Liam Payne says the 1D boys will definitely work together after their 2016 break. But that’s not the only good stuff floating around in music this week. Here are a few tracks we can’t stop spinning.

“IDL” by PC Music’s Life Sim

Audien moves swiftly and deftly between genres and vocalists on his EP out Friday. From the pop-leaning Lady Antebellum collab “Something Better” to the thumping “Pharaohs” to the finger-snapping, singable “Monaco”, it all works and it’s exactly where you should kick off your weekend. —MV

“Party Favors,” by Tinashe and Young Thug

Tinashe’s follow-up to Aquarius, Joyride, has no release date attached. But it won’t sneak up if it’s bolstered with cuts like “Party Favors,” a brooding drugged-out haze, featuring Young Thug, who’s equipped with AutoTune and continuing to fete in the only way he can. —WR
