Who is Peter Capaldi’s Time Lord talking to in the just-released prologue to the new season of Doctor Who? Well, that would be Hellraiser actress Clare Higgins, reprising her role as Ohila, the High Priestess of the Sisterhood of Karn, which she previously played in the 50th anniversary mini-episode The Night of the Doctor. The big question is this: Which of the Doctor’s unnamed — but apparently male — enemies are talking about?

The knee-jerk reaction would be to guess they are discussing Michelle Gomez’s deliciously evil Missy, who we know is returning in the two-part season, and who used to be a man (or whatever they call “men” on Gallifrey). But it’s hard to imagine the liberal-minded Doc would continue to refer to her as a he now that she has transitioned (if that is correct term to use here). And if it’s not Missy then there is, to put it mildly, a long list of possible suspects, given how many enemies the Doctor has made in the past half-century.

Who do you think the pair are discussing? Watch below.

Doctor Who premieres Sept. 19 on BBC America.
