Cookie Lyon always makes a statement – especially with her wardrobe.

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is set to release Empire season 1 on premium Blu-ray this November, which offers a special director’s cut version of the pilot episode from creator Lee Daniels.

EW has your first look at one of the featurettes from the forthcoming Blu-ray, which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at Cookie’s style evolution with commentary from Daniels, fashion/music consultant Monique Mosley, and the woman herself, Taraji P. Henson.

“We’re trendsetting – not just with music,” says Daniels, “but with costumes and hair design and ghetto fabulosity.”

Additional special features also include an exclusive soundtrack with never-before-released tracks as well as commentary for the pilot.

Empire season 1 premium Blu-ray is available Nov. 3. Season 2 of Empire arrives Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
