Late Show with Stephen Colbert: Donald Trump, Pearl Jam, Kerry Washington will be guests

We never got to see Donald Trump attempt to match wits with Jon Stewart in Stewart’s final few weeks at The Daily Show, but he’ll take on an equally formidable comical opponent in Stephen Colbert later this month.
The leading Republican presidential candidate is among the guests slated to appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert during the week of Sept. 21, which will the show’s third week under Colbert’s tenure. Fellow candidate Ted Cruz will help kick off the week by appearing on the Sept. 21 show, while Trump will serve as a guest the following night. Hugh Jackman will pop up on Sept. 23, with Pearl Jam as the musical guest. Scandal star Kerry Washington will close out the week with a Late Show stop-by Sept. 25. Colbert will continue to stock his guest list with non-celebrity political and cultural figures, as you can see below in the complete week 3 schedule for the show, which airs at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
