'Ghostbusters' Leslie Jones gets birthday cake surprise

Leslie Jones is ready to Ghostbust her birthday.

The SNL star took a break from filming Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters movie to enjoy an early birthday treat: a special cake made in the shape of the famous Ecto-1 car from the film.

Jones tweeted a photo of the creation on Saturday, writing, “Yep this happen!! And I smashed my face in it too!! My birthday coming yall!! YAAAAY!!” Jones will turn 48 on Sept. 7.

Jones stars in Ghostbusters alongside Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, and Kate McKinnon. The quartet, with Chris Hemsworth, joined the production in Boston after filming scenes in New York.

Back in July, Feig revealed our first look at the Ecto-1, complete with caution sign and anti-ghost logo. We’ll get to see the vehicle in action when the film debuts on Jul. 15, 2016. In the meantime, feast your eyes on this decadent creation. By the looks of it, Slimer put his paws all over it.
