On Wednesday night’s edition of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon perused the audience, looking for someone to help The Roots come up with an impromptu song for the recurring segment: “Freestylin’ with The Roots.”

The host landed on Justin Bieber, who was conveniently sitting in the audience, disguised under the mononym of “Justin”

Fallon asked Bieber what he did for a living. “I believe I’m some sort of entertainer/singer,” Bieber said.

When Fallon asked the singer what he would want his new television show to be called, Bieber hesitated and came up with Just Trying to Get There.

Who does Bieber want to play him on the show? Tyler Perry.

“You don’t see the— it’s a stunning resemblance,” Bieber said to The Roots.

“You can’t talk to The Roots. You don’t know them, remember?” Fallon admonished Bieber.
