You know what they say about all work and no play

One of the through-lines in Avengers: Age of Ultron is how flawed and fallible Marvel’s mightiest heroes really are. For all their super powers and genius intellects, Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and the gang are only human — even if they’re technically Norse gods, like Chris Hemsworth’s Thor — and thus capable of making mistakes.

As it turns out, the Avengers’ Hollywood counterparts are also guilty of the occasional slip-up. For proof look no further than the recently unveiled Ultron gag reel, which finds Evans riffing on the movie’s closing line, Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/the Hulk) doing his best Columbo impression, Stellan Skarsgard (Erik Selvig) plotting an pool party, and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) doing his Samuel L. Jackson thing.

The gag reel and more bonus material will appear on the Avengers: Age of Ultron home-video release, due Oct. 2.
