Game of Thrones season 6 will feature Euron Greyjoy.

EW has confirmed that Lucy and The Borgias actor Pilou Asbæk will play the part when the new season kicks off. Previously, sources had told Watchers on the Wall that Asbæk had been spotted on the set at Ballintoy Harbor in Northern Ireland.

Adding Euron to the cast marks a significant addition from the books. Spoilers: Euron is mentioned throughout author George R. R. Martin’s series but appears in A Feast for Crows with plans to conquer Westeros using Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons. He’s known as the captain of the ship the Silence, which has a crew full of members who are mute, their tongues having been cut out by Euron.

Other confirmed additions to the season 6 cast include Max von Sydow as the Three-Eyed Raven and Ian McShane in a mystery role. For more on the reported casting and the scene reportedly being filmed, head over to Watchers on the Wall.
