"The Daily Show with Trevor Noah" Premiere

The Daily Show has added Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic, and Roy Wood Jr. as correspondents for the forthcoming season, Comedy Central announced Wednesday.

“I’m so excited to welcome these new members of the Daily Show team,” host Trevor Noah said in a statement. “Now I get to share my stress with other new people.”

After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Chieng’s career took off in Australia when he was recognized in 2012 as one of the “Top 10 Rising Comedians in Australia” by several publications. He opened for both Dave Chappelle in 2014 and Bill Burr in 2015 during their stand-up tour stops in Australia, and made his television debut in the U.S. on The Late Late Show this year.

Awkward fans will recognize Lydic as guidance counselor Valerie Marks on the MTV comedy. The actress has trained and performed at The Groundlings as well as Improv Olympic and her film credits include We Bought A Zoo and The Babymakers.

Wood made his network debut back in 2006 on The Late Show with David Letterman, and has since appeared on @midnight, Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Conan and ESPN’s SportsNation. Wood most recently starred as “Roy” on TBS’ Sullivan & Son. The comedian also took third place on NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2010.

The trio join The Daily Show’s list of talent including Jordan Klepper, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, Al Madrigal, Kristen Schaal, Hasan Minhaj, Aasif Mandvi, and John Hodgman.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah premieres Monday, Sept. 28 at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central.
