Rosie Perez announced her official departure from The View earlier this summer, but that doesn’t mean she’s said farewell to the show for good.

“I think I will be back to visit the ladies,” Perez told People when asked if she’d be willing to stop by as a guest co-host, “I love them, and I love the show, it was just time.”

Executive producer Bill Wolff addressed Perez’s exit in an email to The View’s staff, saying she was stepping away to “pursue full time her love for acting.” Perez’s final show aired on Aug. 6.

ABC News recently announced Joy Behar would be returning to the table when the series comes back for season 19. Fuller House’s Candace Cameron Bure and Good Morning America Weekend co-anchor Paula Faris are slated to join her alongside moderator Whoopi Goldberg as well as co-hosts Raven-Symoné and Michelle Collins.

The View returns Sept. 8 on ABC. For more on Perez’s recent interview, head on over to People.
