J.K. Rowling sorts James Sirius Potter and Teddy Lupin into Hogwarts houses
To the delight of Potter fans everywhere, J.K. Rowling is continuing her Hogwarts: The Next Generation saga (our title, not hers).
Tuesday morning, she wished Harry’s son James Sirius Potter good luck on his first day at Hogwarts, and later Tuesday afternoon, she provided an update about how things are going up at the ol’ castle: Little James has been sorted into Gryffindor, just like his parents:
Teddy Lupin, on the other hand, has been excelling in Hufflepuff over the last few years, making it all the way to Head Boy of the house. (His mother Tonks was also a Hufflepuff, though his father Remus was a Gryffindor.)
Thrilled Twitter fans are already yearning for more information about the rest of the Harry Potter characters’ offspring:
Dear J.K. Rowling, you’ve opened a dangerous floodgate — we’re dying for more information! Who will make Quidditch tryouts? Whose pet is going to turn out to be a fidgety middle-aged man? Who’s teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts? We’ll be glued to our computer screens until we find out.
