If you’re late to the Empire sensation and need to get ready for season 2, then cancel all other Labor Day plans.

Fox announced Tuesday that the entire first season of its hit show will air Monday starting at noon ET/PT. It will run through 11 p.m. ET/PT. Even if you have designs on hitting the beach or leaving the house, Empire‘s addictive soapiness might prevent you from doing so. And you don’t want to anger Cookie.

Season 2 of Empire premieres Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
