Survivor host Jeff Probst reveals the players he’s surprised got voted into 'Second Chance'
We’ve already shown you who the cast of Survivor: Cambodia—Second Chance (which debuts Sept. 23 on CBS) was shocked did not get voted in to the season by fans. And we also revealed who Jeff Probst was stunned to see snubbed. And then we also posted the players saying who they were surprised actually did make the cast.
Well, you can probably guess where this is heading next, and now we are back to the host with the most to find out which inclusions came as a shock to Probst. Which players did he not think would make the final roster but did? We asked him.
“I was surprised that Kimmi Kappenberg made it,” Probst told us when we spoke out in Cambodia on day one of filming. “I was happy. I love having a couple of people from the second season, Australia.”
But Kimmi wasn’t the only one. “I surprised that Peih-Gee made it,” says Probst. “And pleasantly surprised because I find Peih-Gee to be an underrated player when I think back to her season, because she really was on the downside the entire time and still made it really deep. I do think Peih-Gee is going to have a really tough time with this group, but I was glad to see her get a second shot.”
