In addition to having a soon-to-be new sister-in-law, James Franco also welcomed a new co-star to his film Why Him? on Tuesday. Bryan Cranston has joined the comedy, which will be directed by John Hamburg.

Franco shared his excitement on Instgram, saying he “could not be more excited to work with my man, WALTER WHITE!!!!” He and Cranston are also working together on the Franco-directed In Dubious Battle.

Why Him? follows a Midwestern dad and his family as they travel to see their daughter at college over the holidays. When they arrive, the family learns their little girl has a new wealthy tech industry boyfriend, who the father must now compete with for her affection.

Ian Helfer (Meet the Parents, Zoolander) wrote the script and Ben Stiller’s Red Hour will produce with Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps. Production is set to being in Los Angeles this February.

Variety was the first to report the news.
