The 100 is adding yet another adult! EW has learned exclusively that the CW drama is adding a former Desperate Housewife to its ranks: Brenda Strong—also known for her role in the revived Dallas—will play Queen Nia of the Ice Nation.

The Ice Nation was mentioned throughout season 2—two members came to Tondc for the Grounder Clan gathering—but it seems the elusive tribe will receive a bigger treatment in season 3. The Ice Queen has ruled her people for many years while “holding onto power through ruthlessness and savvy” according to her character description. The role details explain further: “She does what she must to maintain her power, even when it puts her at odds with those closest to her.”

That sounds an awful lot like another ruthless Grounder leader we know. Could a Lexa / Queen Nia face-off be coming? And more importantly: Will Strong narrate it?

The 100 will return midseason on The CW.
