It’s time for yet another round of Dubmash Wars, and the stakes are higher than ever.
This time, Agent Carter’s Hayley Atwell and James D’Arcy will square off against Clark Gregg and Chloe Bennet from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the name of charity.
Round two of Dubsmash Wars will be a democracy — fans can vote for the winner by donating $1 per vote, with all proceeds being divided between STOMP Out Bullying and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Every vote cast is entered into a random draw for some pretty amazing prizes, including a trip to Hollywood for the winner and a guest to go on a lunch date with both Dubsmash teams. “If we’re still speaking,” D’Arcy hastens to add in the above video.
Each vote cast increases the odds of winning the grand prize, and the losing team will do a Dubsmash chosen, choreographed, and costumed by the winner, Bennet explains. The losing team must also donate $2,000 to the charity of the opposing team’s choice.
For the uninitiated, the Dubsmash Wars largely unfolded during Comic-Con, with team Carter easily taking home the win thanks to an assist from Atwell’s Captain America: The First Avenger costar Chris Evans. (Of course Team S.H.I.E.L.D. begs to differ. It’s true that Gregg dressing up as Peggy Carter herself was an ace move, but … Evans sweeping in to plant one on Atwell was the stuff dreams are made of.)
