Rest easy because Ryan Adams is still hard at work on his album of 1989 covers. Monday night he gave another update from inside the studio and said, “‘Whole record has a rough mix now!!!!” He then shared new 30-second clips of “Style” and “Blank Space.”

Adams previously teased clips of “All You Had To Do Was Stay,” “Bad Blood,” “Welcome To New York,” “Shake It Off,” and “Out Of The Woods,” whcih he called “maybe the best sad song I ever did. In a good way…” Originally he said the collection was a cover of Swift’s 2014 album in “the style of The Smiths.”
