The Real Housewives of Atlanta is considering whether to add Amiyah Scott to the cast, EW has confirmed; she would be the network’s first transgender Housewife if all goes as planned.

The model filmed for the first time on Monday at a cast event hosted by Kenya Moore, a show source tells EW. “She’s friends with a lot of the ladies,” adds the source.

Production is still underway for the 8th season, expected to return later this fall, and the network won’t unveil full-time cast members until closer to the premiere. “Anything could happen at this point,” the source says of whether Amiyah will hold a peach with the rest of the cast.

And while NeNe Leakes has revealed she won’t be returning, expect Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Williams, and Claudia Jordan to be back in the mix — along with another new face. “Kim Fields will be a Housewife,” the source says of the Facts of Life star. “But with some filming left, things could change.”
