If you’re still asking “Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you?” in 2018, Warner Bros. has provided you with a definitive answer — in theaters.

WB has announced that an animated feature film is set for Setp. 21, 2018, with Tony Cervone, who helmed this year’s Scooby-Doo! and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery, on board as director, and Matt Lieberman writing the screenplay.

The animated feature marks a change for Scooby’s presence in theaters, as his last two cinematic outings were live action. The live-action Scooby-Doo released in 2002, while a sequel, Monsters Unleashed, came out in 2004. Since then, Scooby, Shaggy, and the rest of the gang have been seen in animated form on TV and in direct-to-video films.

Warner Bros. first announced the feature in 2013, with the live-action film’s producers Charles Roven and Richard Suckle still on board to produce.
