  • Marc Webb‘s return to his drama roots after The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hit a boon with the addition of Chris Evans. The Captain America lead will star in Gifted, helmed by Webb and written by Tom Flynn, about a man suing for custody of his precocious niece. Production begins this fall. [Deadline]
  • Rory Culkin and Lin Shaye are the newest adds to Jack Goes Home. Directed written by actor Thomas Dekker (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Jack traces a man in his 20s (Culkin) set to face parenthood. After his father dies and his mother (Shaye) gets injured in a car crash, Jack returns home and uncovers some deep, disturbing family secrets. Culkin and Shaye join a cast already boasting Britt Robertson (The Longest Ride) and Nikki Reed (Thirteen). Filming kicks of this week in New York.
