Kevin Hart and Ice Cube are back in Ride Along 2 trailer

Ride Along 2 might be the sequel to 2014’s Ride Along, but it’s not going to be a carbon copy of that Kevin Hart/Ice Cube buddy-comedy.

“It’s so lazy to just try to rely on the first one,” Ice Cube recently told EW. “The challenge was to make a whole ‘nother movie. We just went bigger and better with the action. We wanted to turn up the comdy, do things people haven’t seen. We have to ride that into new jokes and situations and make it seem like the relationship is moving forward — not relying on what we relied on in the past.”
