Ryan Adams continues to preview his 1989 covers, and late Saturday night he shared a minute of his version of “Bad Blood.”
Dark and moody, it’s the toned-down, guitar-heavy version of Taylor Swift’s original. “Bad Blood is DONE!” he tweeted. “Love love love this song. Heartbreaker sounding version.”
Last week, Adams announced he would record covers of every song on Swift’s 1989 in “the style of The Smiths,” and he started sharing clips and snippets from inside the studio. So far, he’s teased “the saddest version” of “Welcome to New York,” “Blank Space,” “Style,” “Shake it Off,” “Out Of The Woods,” and “All You Had To Do Was Stay.”
