Jackie Cruz, better known as Flaca from Orange is the New Black, turned 29 last week, and to celebrate her birthday, Cruz posted an Instagram message she received from fellow OITNB star Ruby Rose.

“Thank you for my Birthday wishes @rubyrose I’m a lucky girl,” Cruz wrote on the photo, along with the hashtags #Loveher, #orangesista, #flacalovesstella, #jackielovesRuby, and #lipsticktat. The picture is of Rose’s torso, with “Flaca <3" written on her chest.

Why Flaca was imprisoned was revealed during this last season of Orange is the New Black — she got busted for selling fake drugs to her peers after one of her classmates died by suicide — but Cruz told EW earlier this year that she didn’t think the legal decision was correct.

“She made a mistake but I thought she wasn’t selling real drugs, she wasn’t hurting anybody …We still don’t know what happened to the kid, but I don’t think it was fair,” Cruz said. “So many people get away with murder, [and] come on, Flaca gets in prison because of lying? It was, I don’t know, fraud? I just thought it was so sad. She wanted more in life, and the ending was so heartbreaking.”
