Doom and destruction are implied in a film like X-Men: Apocalypse, but you probably weren’t expecting alien vibes. Director Bryan Singer continuously posts behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram, and his latest update is an eyebrow raiser.

“Reminds me of #Area51,” Singer wrote, accompanying a photo of three costumes in what looks like a shipping container. The majority of the scene is hard to make out with all the green screen, but Singer also included the hashtag #roswell. He could be referring to the actual location of Roswell, New Mexico, or just commenting on how otherworldly these headless mannequins look in this lighting. If only we could see what’ll fill that green screen.

Earlier in the week, Singer posted another photo of the devastation coming to X-Men: Apocalypse. Again, a large portion of the scene was filmed with green screen, but we can see hints of Middle Eastern architecture and patterns in the building in the background.

Everything will become clear when X-Men: Apocalypse arrives in theaters on May 27, 2016, with a cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Oscar Isaac.
