Scream Queens: Jamie Lee Curtis' husband to be played by Philip Casnoff
There’s another new face enrolling on campus for Fox’s Scream Queens.
EW has exclusively learned that Philip Casnoff has been cast as the husband of Jamie Lee Curtis’ Dean Cathy Munsch on the horror-comedy series. His character leaves Munsch for a younger woman named Feather, played by writer and actress Tavi Gavinson.
Casnoff has appeared on Broadway with roles in Chess, Shogun: The Musical, and Chicago. He also earned a Golden Globe nomination for playing Frank Sinatra in the 1992 miniseries Sinatra and has had roles on Oz, Strong Medicine, NCIS, and Dollhouse.
On Scream Queens, he’ll join a cast that includes Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Nick Jonas, Abigail Breslin, Nasim Pedrad, Niecy Nash, Oliver Hudson, Ariana Grande, and Billie Lourd when the series premieres Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
