The latest look at Steve Jobs, the upcoming biopic about the Apple co-founder starring Michael Fassbender, pulls back the curtain a little bit more to tease the heart of the film.

Written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Danny Boyle, the film is structured around three significant product launches, and one of the major emotional throughlines of the story is Jobs’ relationship to his daughter, whose paternity he denied for years.

As we head into the festival circuit, Steve Jobs has already staked out some prime real estate as the centerpiece of the New York Film Festival and as the closer to the London Film Festival, so keep an eye on it as a potential major player come award season.

The film also stars Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, and Katherine Waterston. You can catch Steve Jobs when it hits US theaters on Oct. 9.
