Vinyl trailer from HBO: Bobby Cannavale stars in newest sneak peek
- TV Show
Earlier this week, HBO released a teaser on Instagram for its upcoming 10-episode drama series Vinyl, promising another sneak peek to come later in the week. Now, the network has offered up its first look with a minute-long trailer featuring guitar-smashing, champagne-popping and plenty of rock ‘n’ roll.
Set in the 1970s, the series from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter follows Bobby Cannavale’s Richie Finestra, a record label president, trying to save his company – and himself – when punk, disco, and hip-hop were on the rise. But, remember this: He earned his right to be hated.
Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, James Jagger, and Paul Ben-Victor are set as series regulars. Winter acts as showrunner and executive producer of the series, while Scorsese, Jagger, Rick Yorn, Victoria Pearman, John Melfi, Allen Coulter, and Emma Tillinger Koskoff also serve as executive producers.
Vinyl will debut in 2016 to HBO. So, we’ll let Cannavale take it from here.
