Drugs + money + guitars + drums + records + concerts + lipstick = rock ‘n roll. At least, that’s the takeaway from the first teaser for HBO’s Vinyl.
Set to debut in 2016, the new series was developed by Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger, and Terence Winter and stars Bobby Cannavale as a record label president named Richie Finestra. Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano, Ato Essandoh, Max Casella, P.J. Byrne, J.C. MacKenzie, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Juno Temple, Jack Quaid, James Jagger and Paul Ben-Victor all co-star in the show (as do lots of different drugs).
On Instagram, HBO released a brief look at the new show with the promise for “more coming your way this week.” So maybe expect a full trailer to arrive soon.
